In the Balance

Welcome to the online companion to The Global Business Law Review.  In the Balance focuses on current judicial decisions and policy issues in the area of international law with particular focus on those issues which shape global human economic activity.  As we accept submissions, we will be constantly updating our offerings so check back regularly. On a semi-annual basis, all accepted Features, Commentaries and Scholarly Articles will be compiled to form an online volume of In the Balance to better serve our readers. Publishing Policy

It is the expressed goal of the editorial staff to publish monthly features and maintain a vibrant online community to further our mission of truly fostering a transnational discourse on relevant, timely topics.  All submissions must be in Word and emailed to the Executive Publications Editor, Anne McCafferty, at anne.mccafferty@law.csuohio.edu.

Submissions may be made under one of the following categories:

Features: Students from all law schools may submit short 350-500 word essays that lead readers to learn more about any given international legal topic.  All submissions must be consistent with the editorial policies of The Global Business Law Review.  Due to volume, only authors of accepted Features will be notified of acceptance. Features may be subject to editing by the staff of The Global Business Law Review.

Commentaries: Any author may submit commentaries of no more than 3,500 words on a topic that concerns international law. Preference will be given to those that are international in scope which confront an issue of human economic activity again consistent with the editorial policies of The Global Business Law Review. Due to volume, authors of accepted works will be notified upon acceptance. Commentaries may be subject to editing by the staff of The Global Business Law Review, but any edits will be made available to authors of accepted works prior to actual online publication.

Scholarly Articles: Any author may submit a full length scholarly article for publication in one of our two semi-annual compilation issues. All authors will be notified upon acceptance. Articles may be subject to editing by the staff of The Global Business Law Review, but any edits will be made available to authors of accepted works for approval prior to actual online publication.
