Lindsay L. Raskin

Juris Doctorate Candidate for May 2013 with a concentration in international and comparative law. She is currently serving as president of the International Law Students Association and is actively working to establish an asylum clinic at Cleveland Marshall. Lindsay graduated cum laude from Elon University in 2010 where she majored in political science and minored in international studies. After successfully completing an International Law and Human Rights Seminar at Mikolas Romeris University, Lindsay returned to Elon and helped conceptualize and implement education programs for Congolese refugees at Avalon Center in Greensboro, North Carolina. Past academic honors include receiving awards for best overall applicant team and best overall applicant speaker in an international moot court competition and being a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha, Phi Eta Sigma and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies. Lindsay’s work experience includes working for Legal Aid of Pittsboro, North Carolina, the Spartanburg, South Carolina Solicitor’s Office, the Honorable Forrest W. Burt of the Geauga County Court of Common Pleas and Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., L.P.A.
